 Fushigi Yuugi

Unquestionably my all-time favorite shoujo - or girl-type - anime EVER made. It's a sweeping epic of love, honor, and courage, with DEEP emotion (I cry every time I watch the entire series!), EXCELLENT animation, and a SUPERB plot. The voice acting is top-notch, the music stirring, and awesomely themed to the scenes...

...truely a must-see series, especially for girls with a shoujo sweet-tooth. :)
